Because We weren't ready for this Evil.

Everyone's ". . . plausible deniability . . . yada, yada. . ." did this: Bush, All of Congress, except those who voted against the Resolution for the Invasion, all most all Media, and "the People" for being Un-Aware of what is Really going on and Ignorant of most of the Facts concerning the Invasion of Iraq, and "our" Soldiers, some of whom are killing Iraqis for doing what they themselves would do if "we" were Invaded, and then there are also those less ignorant and more culpable of Brainwashing and Corruption and Racism and War Profiteering.

All of us. It's Our Invasion of Iraq.

I've been screaming about this since day one. I never supported Bush, I never supported any of his policies, I didn't support him before or after 9/11 and I don't support him now. I have spent the last 5 years sharing my views with as many people as I can. This is not "my" invasion. This is not my President. And in it's current state this is barely my country.

edit for speeling

2. Me too really. From the very first time I heard anything about it,
my stomache started hurting, and everything seems Worse. I called my senators and representative several times before the vote for Bush's Invasion Resolution.

4. those not calling for immediate withdrawal
are sending perhaps 1000 to 3000 MORE Americans to their deaths (and perhaps far more than that) ... i belief they refer to this as the "responsible" position ...

i agree with them ... they are indeed "responsible" ...

6. In a word, NO.
I never supported this invasion. Hell, I opposed the first Gulf War, too, and that was when Saddam had WMDs for us to bitch about.

In short, I'm a pragmatic Quaker. If you're going to have a war, it beter be for a damn good reason - for war is, in essence, a failure of the better inclinations of our common humanity and a constant source of sorrow for God and humanity alike.
