Shwartznegger bills may pass - WAY TO GO, DIEBOLD & CNN!
Suddenly, despite the fact that polls have shown Schwartznegger's initiatives to be failing, CNN is reporting that voter turnout IN MINORITY DISTRICTS will be LOW BECAUSE OF RAIN, thus helping The Terminator's initiatives to "squeak through.

Of course, the lazy, disinterested minorities are less likely to go out to vote in the rain, just as they were less likely to stand in voting lines for over 8 hours in Nov. 2004.

Way to go, Republicans!

Way to go Diebold!

Help 'em out CNN!

Give out those excuses now, early in the day, so there will be no argument when the crooked voting machines show a low turnout.

22. CNN is such a bunch of troublemakers-The news reports what
the GOP WANTS!

Instead of encouraging people to go vote, they come on and say things like, "People in these areas don't vote. Many are unregistered aliens. Historically, the rain keeps them away from the polls."

So whether it is Diebold or by a handcount, they can manipulate the results they way they want to.

They are doing the same thing in NJ and VA also.

In NYC, I have to go vote for Mayor (just around the corner) and the weather is fine. I am nearly sure the Republican Mayor, Bloomberg is going to win, because the Democratic candidate made a lot of people angry and besides, Bloomberg is a Democrat who turned Republican four years ago when the Dems would not allow him to run for mayor. So he changed partys and won but he does not behave like a Republican, for the most part. For those reasons, a lot of Dems have SAID that they will vote for Bloomberg. Al Sharpton has said, Ferrer will win anyway although he is over 30 points behind in the polls.

8. These pigs do this EVERY election
And they always tend to use an excuse like "oh it's raining so the Democrats won't go and vote"

Yes, I've noticed that ever since 2000 and especially ever since DIEBOLD got involved, the mediawhores have trumpted the ignore the polls and have given excuses because they know the voting machines decide.

Also, we have the CONVIENIENT absence of ANY exit polling AGAIN.

I HATE these bastards.

10. Midterms etc have historically low turnout ...
... Maybe the problem really IS that not enough people are issues-informed and/or agitated enough to show up, and/or that once again, the WingNuts rallied the troops more efficiently than the Dems did.

Y'think ? Maybe ?

49. All the canvassers who came to my door were anti-Arnie. Not one
pro Arnie's proposition person showed up when I was home. Maybe because it's predominantly a Dem district they figured it wasn't worth their time? Or maybe they know Arnie's propositions are as popular as cow dung on toast? Dunno.

I posted this in Breaking News, but obviously it is not considered as such.

It is reported as news but perhaps it is just opinion. Hard to tell these days.

Anyway, I have heard it three times. So it is intentional.

39. I would think that Californians would be happy that New Yorkers are
interested in what is going on in their state, especially LIBERAL Californians. It would seem that they would want us to be concerned if lies are being spread via tv that would affect our acceptance of later news results. I thought we were all in this together...but perhaps not....

I WAS alarmed as hell when I heard the newscaster predict this crap so early. It was almost like we are so stupid that we are not supposed to see though this bs.

I did want Californians to be aware that at least ONE Dem in NYC was awake and did care what is going on out west.

18. You didn't think....
....that these elections today would be pure and honest? There will be no exit polls. See other story around here somewhere.

The voting machines have been long "recalibrated". And the tabulators also.

There will be no free elections in this country until citizens here agree to dip their fingers in that purple ink like they do in those "emerging democracies". And until they have the courage and fortitude to protest dishonest elections in the bitter cold like the Ukrainians.

Shame on us for submitting sheep-like to the pilfering of our greatest right - the right to vote -

"...without which, all other rights are illusory". (AJ Hugo Black).

29. Walked my precinct.
Democrats are solidly no and going to vote. They were all saying, "No, no, no, no ..." I think 79 and 80 will also lose and, frankly, I don't care about that because the initiative process, contrary to the commonly accepted truism is not truly democratic. That is because it does not really allow for debate. It is also divisive because it does not allow for compromise.
