I just noticed a trend in the Iraq casualties

The number of officers killed in action has increased over the last few months:

8 Days in November- 6
October- 8
September- 2
August- 6
July- 2
June- 5


Among the casualties are a number of Lt Colonels, Captains and even a Colonel. I think this indicates a manpower problem in Iraq. You would expect Lieutenants to be out with the patrols but not the higher ranks. They typically play it safe. I think either they have a manpower problem or the troops are not as "enthusiastic" as they once were and the officers are having to get involved in the dirty work.
