Anyone from Jersey vote today?
What's the turnout and what's the general feeling on how the election will go?

1. Corzine will win in a closer than usual one.
Voted today 6 am sharp. This election shouldn't even be this close and in the end it probably won't be.

3. Imus was just talking trash about Corzine and his ex-wife; did
some new story surface this a.m.? If so, how convenient!
She said something to the effect that if she couldn't trust her ex, how could the state of NJ?

5. Heck Forrester Bucks buys alot of dirt.
All this negative slant is going to backfire on Forrester.

2. I voted at 6:15 this morning...
Clicked a straight dem ticket all the way down. I really hope Forrester doesn't win.

I'm also wondering what the hell is going on with the Newark Star Ledger up here in North Jersey. They endorsed Forrester over Corzine and today put Forrester's mug on their front page, and 3 of the 5 or so days since Alito was nominated they've had front page articles, the crux of each one being "Hey, Alito really isn't as conservative as you might think."

4. I voted at 6:30 this morning...
my husband and I were the only ones there, though three people came in as we were leaving.

I will be driving people to the polls later today - hopefully I'll be really, really busy!

6. I voted a little after 10 AM today...the place was Hoppin'
Big turnout for that time of day...parking was a wait-for-someone-to-leave situation.

Tough to call, though...traditionally, I live in a Republican town, in a Republican county, Democrats are outnumbered 4 to 1 in my town...but we've got lots of independents in there who are unpredictable. If all the chatter on DU is right, we should see some shift to Democratic voting even from some of the Republicans.

I certainly hope so, I'm on the ballot. :)

7. voted around 10am...
...i had planned to vote at 6am (normally catch a 6:30ish train into manhattan for work). but i was feeling crappy this morning, decided to get a coupla extra hours sleep, and so i didn't vote till mid-morning. the place wasn't dead, but it wasn't hopping. not unexpected, since most folks are at work.

ordinarily i'd be concerned about low turnout because democrats outnumber repugs 6 to 1 in my town, but we're also voting for a mayor today, and the incumbent lost in the primaries.
