Republicans and the Ten commandments
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 12:48 AM by KingFlorez
They want them up in public places, but don't seem to follow most of them

Let's see how many they broke

1. "Do not put anything ahead of God your Creator."

I've seen some Freepers talk about Bush like he's some god, so I guess this counts as a broken one.

4. "Remember the Sabbath, keep it holy."

Gee, the Republicans in congress forgot that when they rushed back to town to intefere with a dying woman

5. "Honor your father and your mother."

Trying to ruin social security and medicare isn't honoring you parents

6. "Do not commit murder."

I could go on and on about this one, but we all know about Iraq

8. "Do not steal."

Giving taxpayers hard earned money as a gift to companies who gouge us is stealing where I come from

9. "Do not tell lies against anyone."

Telling dirty lies about you opponent and slandering them qualifies as breaking this amendment

10. "Do not covet other people's possessions."

Yeah, you gotta stop wanting the Iraqis oil, it does not belong to you so stop trying to rob someone else of their resources.

1. Same with the Sermon on the Mount. "Blessed are the peacemakers"...
...is not supposed to be sarcastic.

2. The Bushbots believe the corporatists are the way to go
Manna, manna, and more manna. Of course, their president also believes the rich should be given the manna before the poor. (It may trickle down to the poor)

5. Money is the Freeper god, that and the blessed free market...
reThuglicans are the most idolotrous bunch of hypocrites...RayGun was near godlike to them, and you're right, the way they talk about the Imbecile is frightening in its cultlike slavishness.

7. Freepers would have them cast into hell
We all know the meek really means in GOP talk, the lazy and stupid. I guess Christ had a different view of the meek than the freepers.
