One of the five detainees to be charged was just 15 years old

How can our military possibly be trying an adolescent for war crimes?

from Reuters:

Omar Khadr, a Canadian who recently turned 19 years old, was just 15 when he was sent to Guantanamo and is accused of killing a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan and with attempted murder.
