Ashcroft vs. Rush?
Since Rush hasn't been charged yet, how would his potential penalties be affected by Herr Ashcroft's "throw the Book at em'" campaign to remove discretionary control from the hands of judges?

Seems to me Rush may be the recipient of a maximum sentence, thanks to Johnny Asscrop.

I'm glad Manute Bol is going to be the world's tallest jockey - it fits perfectly with the upside-down, topsy-turvey, wrong is right world of today.

1. Limbaugh isn't federal
His case is state only. Ashcroft has no jurisdiction and I'm quite sure he'll keep it that way.

3. rush`s case should
be federal but won`t be.if it was anyone else and not florida ,the feds would have been all over it. the one guy is out on "home arrest" for his bond, the other two posted bail..sorry but these guys were dealing alot of stuff and it wasn`t all going to rush...

4. I believe transporting illegal drugs across state lines is a
Federal offense so Asscrop's people might have to step in. It depends if the Fed Ex stories are true.

5. manute bol is
raising money for some cause. ever heard his story? went back home,lost/robbed all his money, and was held virtually a prisoner in his country. several nba players got him back to the states and helped him live till he got back on his feet..it`s quite a story...

Rush will never even be charged with a crime. The PBPD have had two years to get him and haven't done so.

The only reason Rush went into rehab is because he was too radioactive to score his dope anymore on the streets. It was the lack of his drug that sent him into rehab, nothing more.

9. Well that sounds good but...
They quite obviously don't care about the Constitution, Congress, or free and fair elections. These bastards are the epitome of why people don't care about politics and choose not to vote. "They're all liars anyway" is a common excuse and bushco want it that way. So I don't think limbaugh will ever see the inside of a jail cell. IMO, the worst that will happen is that he will be charged, convicted of a misdemeanor, get a deferred sentence, and then he will ratchet up his attacks on drug users because he'll be able to honestly say "been there, done that".

10. Tommy Chong took up the last available federal prison bunk
Sorry.

Rush will go to some snazzy rehab clinic (where the rehab won't work) and be back to popping pills before you can say: "Nazi!"
