My lastest foray into the 9th Circle of Hell (FreeRepublic)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1000444/posts

HAHAHA, there is a right wing bloodletting over Rush's hypocrisy.

The smarter conservatives (a very small minority) see Rush as a tool which has worn out its usefullness. The dumber ones (the vast majority) are lemmings following Rush off a cliff into a sea of hypocrisy and drugs.

BTW, freeper Mike King is looking for a job again. I'll bet he never lost his job during the Klintoon administration.

10. As a black conservative, offers should be POURING in.
Christ I would think between Scaife, Clear Channel, and FOX, he'd be doing non-stop interviews.

On edit: Removed Mike's picture. On reflection it's a very Freepish thing to do.

I feel sorry for him having lost MY job in 2001 due to the Bush* Economic Ineptitude Crusade. Hang in there, Mike ... next year we'll have a REAL president in place and things will pick up.

7. Remember that study on incompetence
The people most sure they were correct and the best workers were the most incompetent. No, they can't tell how stupid they are. To a stupid person with an ignorance streak, they are the brightest bulb.

His liberal drug policies caused Rush to fall into a pit of dependency. Rush is the victim if liberal hug-a-thug drug policies.

11. It was me.
You see, you cannot post an anti-Freeper position article on your first post or you will be ZOTed.

I didn't care since I have many Freeper accounts that are years old and are in deep cover.

And I use different IP addresses (proxies) in case they track those.

They won't link this discussion over there because I mentioned that one of their lieutenants (mike king) is jobless again in this jobless Bush "recovery."

Read my recent GD post about FreeRepublic's finances.

Edited on Mon Oct-13-03 05:17 PM by Evil_Dewers
I know a freeper named RepublicanRed who states he has accounts here.
There are others at FR who state they have active or dormant (non-banned) accounts here.

21. No doubt there are dozens or hundreds of freepers here.
I had two accounts at FR for 2 years. Then I posted a spoof Bob Boudelang like post and they banned both ID's. But, I got another one a few months later so what the hell. It proves they do check IP though, because both accounts were banned.

I would be willing to bet there are freepers who have multiple thousands of posts at DU.

There is no way to avoid it short of stifling all dissent.

19. Harassed by FReepers
Last week I sent out an e-mail to some close friends, all Democrats, about the absurdity of our new California governor. I sent the message from my home computer. I also lamented that, as a State engineer, I might very well lose my job as Arnie would likely choose to contract out much of the work we are now doing. I must say that my message was pretty insulting to Governor Groper. My mistake was in firing off a copy to a conservative that I sometimes debate with electronically. I was hoping to spark another spirited debate. Next thing I know, I open my e-mail at my office and there's a message to the effect that I'm now famous on Free Republic. Apparently this person had posted my message there. The fine contributors to FR had then done a Google search and found out where I worked. I received a deluge of hateful and threatening e-mails, along with some well-wishers who hoped that Arnie would kick my socialist ass back to whatever Communist hell-hole I came from. Fortunately, the Google listing included a phone number that was disconnected. By the time I logged on at FR as a user to try to defend my position, the thread, which contained 106 posts, had been deleted. I guess they were worried about a harassment lawsuit. Anyway, so much for free speech. As Mike is asking, Dude, where's my country?

Gimme the name of conservative who posted at FreeRepublic (or his screen name at FreeRepublic) and I'll discern if he ever posted during working hours and threaten HIS job. I have no problem with netcopping after what freepers tried to do to Will Pitt.

They are worthless, ruthless sons-of-bitches, that is for damned sure. They will do their damnedest to ruin anyone who talks against Bush or conservatives.

18. Note to lurking Freepers (the ugly truth about FreeRepublic pledge drives)
http://democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=527823

Jim Robinson is taking you folks for a huge ride. Even though he's using the ancient perl/CGI format, there's no way in hell it costs $260,000 a year to run FreeRepublic unless RimJob is paying himself and his family at least $225,000 a year.

https://secure.freerepublic.com/donate/budget

Monthly Expenses
Bandwidth $2,700
Technical Services 4,000
Administrative 7,500
Legal Expenses 3,000
Estimated Bank Fees, Insurance, Office Expenses, Maintenance and Repairs, Supplies, Travel, misc. 2,200

$2700 a month for bandwidth? What, he has his own dedicated T1/T3 lines? LOL! $48,000 a year for "Technical Services?" You could hire three Indian programmers and a few $1000 a night call girls for that. $90,000 a year for administrative. That's JimRob's salary (not including the amounts he skims from the other expense accounts). Legal expenses of $36,000 a year?!? C'mon. The Washington Post was awarded no money after their successful suit against FreeRepublic. Just cease violating copyright law and FR would have no legal expenses anyway. Here's my favorite: $26,400 a year for bank fees, insurance, office expenses, maintenance and repairs, supplies, travel and miscellaneous.

Jesus Christ. I'll bet JimRob has a 24k gold plated wheelchair just like Larry Flynt.

Even if you add all that up, it is only $232,800 a year. Read on:

http://www.freerepublic.com/

"Free Republic operates on an approximate $260,000 annual budget which includes all equipment costs, bandwidth fees, consulting and labor costs, license fees, insurance, rents, office expenses, advertising, travel, professional fees, and taxes."

Isn't it nice that you freepers get to pay for RimJob's family vacations and taxes?

Don't believe me? OK, freepers, ask RimJob for the actual financial statements he files with the state of California and the IRS and take it to an auditor. But because FreeRepublic.com is a limited liability corporation, JimRob will chuckle at you and say he doesn't have to release anything to you. Even if you got something from Jim, I guarantee the auditor would laugh you out the door when he/she reviewed the multi-inflated expense accounts.

If you really feel sorry for MD victims, donate to the
Muscular Dystrophy foundation http://www.mdausa.org/ --

Jerry's Kids need 225 grand a heck of a lot more than Jim Robinson does.

27. My reponse:
"To Any DUers reading: Do any of you feel an IOTA of shame and hypocrisy for calling Arnold a groper when your beloved God Bill Clinton did the same and worse?"

NOPE...You good Republcans showed me the light about how eeeeeevil Clinton was and how bad his behavior was. So when Gropey McMusclehead's story went nationwide I was aghast because the good people on the right would never stand for a sexual deviant in power. But, they did...and I was left in a state of disbelief. Why is eeevil Bill Clinton's behavior so eeeevil and the righteous good people of conservative america fully endorsing a CONFESSED molester?

28. Giant sucking sound...
That discussion was more focused on something called a "Zot" and compensations for sexual inadequacies than actually debating the merits of the issue - that the fact it is Rush Limbaugh gives him a pass in conservative minds.

I think we need to lure away those on that thread that actually sounded intelligent - they have much more constructive uses of their time than wasting it with the sub-par majority on that board....
