Should Dean keep hammering away
at Kerry & other Dems for not opposing the war from
the start? Doesnt everybody know he was out in front
on this issue by now? Shouldnt the candidates pull their
punches to keep the heat on Bush as he doodles ever deeper
into the quicksand?

1. he should keep hammering on the war
as should Kucinich and Sharpton. I don't particularly care if he keeps making it a campaign issue in the primaries, in the sense of "hammering away" at Kerry et al, but I don't think he should keep from talking about it just because a bunch of the pre-crowned front-runners put themselves on the wrong side of the issue.

2. Not at other Democrats and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES
Do you want to see NY becoming Republican?
I don't think that anybody wants to see a replay of what happened in 2002 in NY. Latinos and blacks stayed home because of Mark Green and Cuomo(keep in mind that Bloomberg and Pataki won) and I most certainly will stay home if he keeps on smearing other Democrats.

6. I don't think stating facts is "smearing"
but I guess if those facts reflect poorly on one's candidate, well, then we'll call 'em smears.

3. He should hammer harder. It's time to educate the voters on who's
who and who voted for the war. It's time to draw distinctions. State facts and move on.

Dean '04.

4. No - he should be hammering *co
for lying and leading us into an invasion of a sovereign nation, and murdering hundreds of American soldiers and thousands of Iraqi civilians (of course he shouldn't use those particular words).

No sense in bashing the other Dem candidates - it just makes them look like Repubs...

5. No, Bush is the danger
If he isn't smart enough to see the absolute need is to get rid of Bush and the PNAC, he isn't smart enough to be President. Bush and his fanatics are dangerous to this country and it is time for Dean to put aside political advantages of bashing Democrats, and focus on Bush's lies. He can promote his own conclusions against the war and help expose Bush's lies, without destroying the whole party. Because the truth is, he could have been wrong. We all could have and we shouldn't forget it.

7. yes!
Since Kerry doesn't hesitate to imply that Dean is unqualified on security matters, Al From and Bruce Reed do op-Ed hatchet jobs on Dean daily, blah blah blah the Dean people would be *stupid* not to articulate this difference one way or the other.
