Don: Senator Reid Should Hold a Primetime News Conference on Scandal
What would it hurt? The networks might not cover it and then again they might? But if they didn't cover it the media would look bad. It would look ike the media refusing to give both sides equal time. Which they don't.

This would be a good time for the Dem's to explain their plan(s) for getting these messes cleaned up in Iraq and Afghanistan on the air. And other domestic issues like gas prices and national health care for everyone too.

I say go for it Harry. Just be ready for some tough questions. Hey we have to start sometime. Now is as good as time as any.

Don

1. I would certainly support it. I'm sick of the M$M blasting Dems for not
having goals, guts or plans. Give 'em Hell Harry. And Kerry giving them Hell wouldn't hurt either.

3. They could approach the talk shows say they want on....if

they don't get the time, go to the smaller markets and, go to the newspapers in all markets take out full page ads. Progressive talk radio is doing a good job, senators and representatives are on quite often. I also think billboards are a good way to to get a message out. People actually read them, and they don't have to scream politics, just provide good common progressive sense. And just regular folks putting up highway crossover signs like many DUers have done about the war and the elections reinforces the message.

To really sink in a message has to come from as many sources as possible. Then it becomes a..."well, as everybody knows..." sort of thing.

I want to see Bill Frist cry and tantrum again. ;)

5. I agree
I think that all the main democrats should be with Reid and he and Pelosi should hold a joint press conferences and talk about everything that has been going on and tell the democratic response and plans.

4. There will be some prime time fireworks on the 14th.
I'm even comfortable now with Feinstein as one of the three foxes in their hen house. I've seen some real anger there that she knows she was duped. And she's showing it.

6. Good
I read somewhere, I think on crooksandliars.com, that she was going to vote "no" for Iraq but her family pushed her for voting for it because of business. I thought that was really sad and pathetic personally. I'm just glad all the democrats are finally united and speaking out. It really is great to see the democratic party I love taking action.

7. She nearly floored me the other day when she came out
and spoke supportively of Kerry's withdrawal plan for Iraq. I expected she would be one of the last group of Dems to come around on a withdrawal plan.
