There is some 300 pages of e-mails in here, including the notorious one where Abramoff's and DeLay's crony Scanlon calls right-wing Christians "wackos."

This file contains numerous references and plans to "blast fax" and manupulate religious conservatives and their pastors into voting to support Abramoff's ventures. It includes references to mail campaigns, telephone trees, and the likes. I just combed over pages 1 to 120, but I have to get some sleep now. The best ones I quoted on my diary at Kos. Anyone want to search through the rest of the document and pull out embarassing or derogatory phrases or e-mails?

We should find as much as we can, and media blast these things to religious conservative groups. They have the RIGHT to know they are being manipulated.

This is not democracy. And they should know what these Republicans are doing to them.

They had Robertson, Falwell and Perkins all involved in this. That seems to be as important as these nasty emails. What would these people think if they knew all these calls to fight gambling were really to support the Indian Gaming in Mississippi. That's the story, Reed, Robertson, Falwell, and Perkins tricked you into believing they were fighting gambling when they were really protecting gambling in a different state.

And man oh man are they organized. We are not organized like this, not by a long shot. I've never gotten a call to patch me through to anybody.

Last year Grover set a meeting for certain select tribal leaders (Coushatta and Chitimacha were the only ones) and the House of several legislatures to meet with the President in a small meeting for photos, etc.
the tribes paid for the event (total cost was $100k for the entire thing, and each tribe put in $50K). Grover has asked me to line up a few tribes to do so again. I am sure the Choctaw would be willing to do so, and I know that Coushatta will do it. Aqua Caliente might also want in, but I am not sure yet. let me know if you guys want in. it would be either a $25k or $50k contribution to ATR for this. let me know as soon as possible. thanks Chris.
