1. Franken's AAR show puts the right wingers to shame
Funnier, smarter, more honest...but I wonder if there's nearly as large a market for progressive radio as there is for regressive, reactionary radio. The far right wingers need someone to assure them that their ideology has merit--left wingers don't, at least not to the same degree.

2. I think there is. But it'll take time. The rightwing gasbags didn't build
their radio networks overnight.

days on Sundance. I haven't heard any explanation.

edit: He did start his book tour/on the road shows this week - it'd be tough to coordinate a tour with Sundance.

13. I think so
I was going to watch one evening and I didn't see it listed on the menu guide and asked about it and someone said that Franken told how they're no longer doing that deal. :( I loved it.

11. Yay!
And on the Sundance Channel Saturday starting at 2pm est they're going to have a "Best of Al Franken" little marathon of his show from when he was on there. I wish he was still on there. :( I loved watching it because it cut the show down to the best hour and a half.

14. It may be back again at some later date. This was the "second season" of
the show. Al will be "on the road" mostly the rest of the year and then will be broadcasting from Minnesota after that.
