E-mails from Brown, FEMA: Is there a current ongong
investigation I'm not aware of, I hope? Who is leaking this lethal stuff? I'm happy in a sick way that it's getting out there, but where is it coming from?

2. Yes
The Congress is trying to figure out the whys as to the pathetic FEMA response to Katrina. I guess Brownie, W's appointee was too tied up concerning being a fashion god, to take Katrina seriously.

Those pictures of stranded and desperate Black faces in New Orleans were seen around the world and by our own people. That neglect must not happen again.

3. Thanks, Erika. It's not being televised on CSPAN,
I guess. I really wanted to see the Senate lambast Brown; he so deserves it.

4. He didn't even have a plan in place for someone to look after his dog.

A week after Brown corresponded with co-workers about who would look after his dog while he traveled to the Gulf Coast, federal employees forwarded press releases to him and urged him to do more to rescue pets stranded by Katrina.

5. We can thank Charlie Melancon

Thanks to the numerous emails the Congressman released, we have a great insight into how shallow and clueless this guy was. Plus, the phrases lend themselves to cult-like dialogues. I know that they have been picked up for sarcastic use in lots of workplaces. Now we have even more phrases--like roll up your sleeves, I am a fashion god, etc. Makes me want to vomit.
