an email administrator and website coordinator. Trust me when I tell you that the great majority of us could careless what you email, and don't have time to read them even if we wanted!

My concern is being able to retrieve stuff if I did get in hot water.


Therefore I do pay attention to a point. I do the usual stuff, but I'm not dumb enough to spout off to prove I'm not doing my job. But then, I don't think I'm above the law either :)

Unless there's a problem, I just let the system run. I've had precisely two problems in six years. I have no time to poke into others' business.

A friend of mine got NAILED for dissing the boss with some other coworkers. The boss actually had a secretary print out all the emails and put them in separate huge notebooks with highlighted marker on every single mean thing they said about him. Each person got called in (there were 5 friends who'd been dogging this guy for like a whole year) separately and confronted with his/her NOTEBOOK of emails. It was a great wakeup call for me and everyone who remembers it.
