Who are the Senate's 'Gang of 14'? I've never heard of this till now (I thought I kept my self fairly informed, but I never knew of this alliance,otherwise I would have spent more time targeting them when writing letters.Who are they?

I think the initial compromise probably was a good idea, but it won't last through the Alito confirmation.

I think there'll be a new gang of 14! The other ones (mostly repubs)are jumping ship because they're worried about being labeled a RINO. But there will be others that don't like that fact that Bush is stacking the court!
