I don't think I ever believed that there was a link between 9/11 and Iraq. I always knew that Uncle Saddy was hated by the likes of OBL because Uncle SADDY was a secular fucker and OBL was a purest crazy ass fucker. (See how they both end with fucker.)

How often and for how long have we seen threads predicting that "THE TIDE IS TURNING!" -- it's almost tied with "jump the shark" for over-use.

Well if the tide really is turning this way at last, your point is so relevant for today. We can't turn away from the shore, face the open sea, and try to stand firm against the rising waters, shaking our fists, Canute-like, demanding "where the hell have you been!!"
