All that matters for the Republicans is that they control the media. So long as they control the media, we can sit around a scream and write to the papers, and talk to each other, and it doesn't matter a bit.

Look at CA. The media told people what to think and how to feel. When you have that kind of power, no MLK or Emma Goldman can hurt you.

I would like to seem Ashcroft crack down on free speech. That would make me feel better. I'd feel like big media doesn't totally dominate information.

I've always thought that the reason Bush and his gang of crooks don't seem to care about what WE THE PEOPLE (oh how they conveinently FORGET THOSE MAGIC WORDS, huh?) say, is because they think "well damn, it doesn't matter--we're actually getting away with this shit!!!"

I learned about folks like Guy James. If we support him, we'll still have a piece of the media and not feel isolated. It's a new beginning. The isolation is the worst. At least I felt like that.
