"They can say anything they want." New Dem response to media
questions regarding R talking points and comments. I've heard it several times the past couple of days. I like it. It's the appropriate response. So the Rs say it. Doesn't mean it's true.

3. This manner of responding also gets Dems out of the mode of sounding
defensive--as if they are having to explain everything in terms of the Rs framing of the argument.

2. After a while, it's the only way you CAN respond
to the unending interminable litany of lies that are put forth day after day, week after week, year after year...

10. Ah yes
Yep, I clearly remember that day. Here in California, we were bombarding her office, E-mail, telegrams, petitions, message machines.. brought down her web-site due to overload..etc..etc..

Did she listen us US???? NO, she actually stood up in the Senate and made a speech, that she had to go by what her California supporters wanted. Oh yes, I remember. In a collective 'scream' we heard that here in California. I didn't believe then and I sure don't believe now that she even took a look at what she was voting on. She lost my vote.

11. Ooo! I like that.
A lot. Yep, they can say anything they want, but it's not the truth and no matter how many times they spew their lies, it doesn't make it the truth.
