Made in China "Support the Troops" Yellow Ribbon Car Magnets Fading Badly
Edited on Wed Nov-02-05 09:47 AM by Vinnie From Indy
It's kind of ironic that most of the Chinese made yellow ribbon "support the troops" car magnets sold at Wal-Mart are fadiing as fast as the support for the war.

1. Those magnets are clearanced everywhere...
...Walgreen's, Walmart has the magnets on clearance. I think they were 50 cents at Walmart.

3. Do what I did...
Buy up a bunch of 'em, paste over the original message with "IMPEACH BUSH" on yellow paper, laminate 'em, and apply to car.

You'd be surprised how many people stop me and ask where to buy them.

(I'd post an image, but haven't yet figured out how to -- I've been reading this forum for a long time, but am new to posting here.)

5. Thanks.
(This reply brings me up to 3 now. Woo-hoo!)

I'd been reading DU off and on -- whenever I needed solace -- since the 2000 selection. But over the past five or six months I've haunted the place; and recommended it to several like-minded but unaware types.

9. I've got a "Bring them home" ribbon
Still bright yellow (Made in USA).

I think the message is much more in keeping with the yellow ribbon theme, and it's the best way to support our troops.
