1. I heard Reid on CNN without a rebuttle
I also heard Reid along on CNN along with Frist whining which doesn't count as a rebuttle. It may depend on how long you watch as to what you see and what shows.

3. The talking heads keep saying the Democrats "shut down" the senate
which is a lie. They simply went into a closed session. This "shut down" meme was probably their talking point for the day along with the word "stunt."

5. Ah, but when you hear them say it, it sounds good...
When they say Democrats "shut down" the Senate, it's always stated in the context of doing so as a last resort to get answers.

For example, last night on CNN's site, the teaser for the story was excellent. It basically said Democrats were fed up, wanted answers about Iraq, are tired of the foot dragging, and had to do something. Followed by a quote from Frist along the lines of "This is an affront to the United States!"

4. CNN has been pretty even handed lately
I have to give it to them. I don't watch much TV news, but I usually turn on CNN, when something goes down. They've given the Democrats pretty good airtime the last few days, especially on the rule #21 issue, that Ried pulled. Brilliant move Senator!

9. I watch but I hit the mute button every time a GOPer is on...
They just tell the same stale lies every time anyway. They are cutting their own throats, because every time they lie and get caught up in it, they lose voters. And every time they open their mouths they lie. I'll bet every GOP headquarters in the country, has a liars bench, with a big LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOng line or bushitters waiting to sit down.

‘Arragghrrorwr!’

10. I've noticed that CNN is giving both sides, but never at the same
time. I think that they're trying to get out of that confrontational mode. No more of the shouting and talking down matches. Except that means that to get both sides, you have to sit through more of the newscast, waiting for the other side to get their 5 minutes in the next 1/2 hour.

11. Wolf Blitzer is a piece of human garbage
A pathetic boot-licking toady. He was asking Senate Democrats O'Reilly/Hannity-style leading questions all afternoon, yesterday. He thinks he's "edgy", I think he's a Bush ass-kisser.
