They were wrong about NAFTA but never admitted it. Wonder if they will finally come clean on Iraq?

3. They've both been cornered by the Right

with all the complicated hooey about how invading Iraq was really Bill's idea. And if Hillary repents, she'll be painted as weak and feminine. Just like a female trial lawyer, a female politician has to be 10 times meaner than the meanest male.

And before any flames may be lighted, I mean no sexism by that observation. I've just seen it at work about a brazillian times.

:dilemma:

4. Hill has made a huge mis-step
by not admitting she was wrong about Iraq. She has hung back saving her political capital for too long when she should have been taking an aggressive role in demanding that Congress take action to assure that the administration croneys don't drive the ship of state straight to the bottom of the sea. It's time for some righteous indignation--but she doesn't have the sense of timing necessary to get ahead of the curve--which will leave her in a huge skid.

5. Reid gave Hillary a helluva open door to walk through.
In the press conference today, after he and Durbin took the Senate into closed session, Harry gave any Democrat (or Republican for that matter) a perfectly framed opportunity to walk through the door any time they feel comfortable with it.

He played the dumb game, like none of them knew what * and the Repugs were doing at the time we went to war. Anybody can now walk through that door any time they want.

I expect to hear more Dems parrot those talking points. We all know that they are bullshit, but here the goal is not the absolute truth, but a truth that enables others to escape the trap they've put themselves in without losing face.

Somebody in Reid's office, or Reid himself, is thinking way ahead of the game. There's been some inkling of this throughout Reid's tenure as Leader. I think that we're finally seeing the real Harry.

We've been begging and pleading for a leader. By golly, we very well might have one.

6. They should have inhaled...
That should be required of our leaders.

The big Dawg's cruel "welfare reforms" sucked too!

Just sayin'...
