Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen and everyone in between! It's time for our first edition of Name This Week's Terrorist Threat.

As you all know, the news cycle this week is looking bad, bad, bad for the White House. And you know what that means!

When the polls drop, the boogeyman comes out!

Somewhere in this delightful U.S. of A., sometime real soon, the terror-o-meter is going to bounce into the orange and we'll all stop paying attention to... oh, who the hell cares. Let's play the game.

We already know the terrorists are coming. You must name the nature of the threat. Will it be biological? Chemical? A threat against public transportation, a bank, or a nuclear facility? You make the story. Karl Rove will decide which one to use.

Extra points will be given for specific facts such as dates and times, or what pattern of red tie the President will be wearing when he gives a speech on Syria and Iran.

It's that simple, and you don't have to play to win, because when the White House f@<#s with peoples' minds, everyone loses!

Today Wolf Blitzer had to ask some bird flu expert, "We've been getting letter after letter asking us whether it's safe to eat chicken... please answer that question on the air for our viewers."

For chrissakes!!!!!!!! There are people out there--lots of them!--who actually think they can't eat chicken because of "bird flu"??

See, that's what keeps Bushco going: the unbelievable ignorance of the American populace.

9. They've blown their wad on bird flu, even though I got an Rx for Tamiflu

today from the doc that I don't need (I was pretty embarrassed asking, but it lasts for 5 years in the fridge while nothing happens.), so I'm guessing it'll be a "terrer" threat in the US.

Alternatively, an attack overseas that we'll have to answer (Syria?).

We'll see.
