It's time to retire the term IED
IED is short for Improvised Explosive Device. Someone might make an IED by digging a hole in the middle of the road, putting a block of explosive in it and covering it with gravel and metal shards.

The things the Iraqis are using against our troops are not "improvised." They're being made in factories.

It's time to start calling these devices what they really are: landmines.

3. Land mines with High Explosives from guess where?
All of those UNSECURED Weapons depots in Iraq that the US bypassed in favor of the oil refineries and pipelines. Are we feeling good now?
