What grounds are they going to say they were wronged and shouldn't be forced to TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE how they lied to them? "Senate collegiality"?

After all, it's worked so well up until now. But there does come a point when the lies have to get bigger and bigger to top the pile, and enything that top-heavy is bound to fall over sooner or later.

These bastards have been hateful ever since they took control in 1994.

Gingrich and "Repugnant Goon Revolution" ended any collegial relationships between the parties. Allen Simpson, a retiring Repug senator referred to the 1994 Repug freshmen as "bug-eyed zealots" and Simpson was not the least bit liberal.
