Brilliant! One thing this does is firmly attach the R Congress to Bush.
One point was made today by Reid and Rockefeller: the Repuke Senators / House members and the Bush White House are one and the same.

Good strategically for 2006.

Let's see how much this yoke chafes you, boys.

3. I also like the fact that they broadened it beyond one investigation
They're tying it all together. The pattern of corruption and lies.

5. Exactly: I've been saying the 2006 campaign theme should be...
RUBBER STAMP!!!

All the R's do is rubber stamp the WH agenda. They're shirking their duties under the separation of powers, and Reid laid it out plainly today. RUBBER STAMP should be stamped on the face of every Republican incumbent in 2006.

6. Hell, it's good strategically for the Alito nomination.
They just passed the unmistakeable word to the Repugs, "If you pull the nuclear option on our filibuster, we will unite against you."

9. Yep.
As Bush's numbers continue to drop in a free-fall, the Repuke Senators are all hugged up to him.

10. Because it is a fact that is good strategically. And the truth.
Those two things are NOT mutually exclusive that I know of.

11. Good Observation
We need each "stunt" through Nov. 2006 to do the same.
