Poll question: Would it be better had Fitzgerald indicted Rove last Friday or...
...next year some time? Like maybe about half way through next years election season? And after the flu season and after a new SC justice is sworn in? What do you think?

1. I'll go ahead and be the one to vote the nakedly mean, partisan way...
Fitzgerald indicting Rove sometime over the summer would be sweet. It'd get this whole mess right back in the news, just in time for election season. Delicious. Exquisite, even... ahhhh... whoops! I think I drooled on myself

2. The only reason for last Friday
would be that once the indictment had been handed down, it would have meant that Rove would:

a: Have to keep his "head down" and not actively participate in political activities; and,
b: He would have become "radioactive" meaning that talking to ANYBODY ABOUT ANYTHING would have placed him and whoever he talked to in some kind of legal jeapordy.

The sooner the a-hole is out of circulation, the better.

4. i think his current status - "still under investigation" makes him
"radioactive" now. . .I am imagining Karl still squirming and sweating, and everyone in the whitehouse wondering if Karl can really be trusted.

3. I'm not voting because neither alternative is even close to what I think.
I think the best choice is whatever aids the investigation. It's like kibitzing on a chess game where you can only see 3 squares of the board. Should white have pushed that pawn now or should he have waited? How the hell should I know? I have no clue as to what master strategery is behimd the move, so I'm gonna probly misunderestimate how high the pie is, and that's just no way to put food on your family.

6. Who said anything about a "master strategery"?
I just asked what do you think is better. If you don't know thats great.
