they're legally obligated to report it, as I understand.

And as Fitz pointed out, there's a difference between a journalist protecting a source and a journalist being an eyewitness to a crime.

And a Fed shield law still wouldn't have protected Cooper from being forced to testify to a grand jury.

4. Exactly...and I want to know why a reporter didn't tell American public
that important WH figures were lying and he knew it, along with most of the DC press corps.

And, funny that Cooper is married to Mandy Grunwald, a Clinton campaign team manager, and she never let on to the DNC that reporters KNEW in an election year about Rove and the WH and still helped Rove smear Wilson as just a campaign hack for Kerry,
