8. "Breach of Public Trust"
I like that cover best, too. Especially since the photo of Fitzgerald is so flattering and the other three are most definitely not.

I noticed that in all the pics on the newspapers, the photographs of bush, rove and cheney tend to give a negative impression to the viewer. Good. (Except the one that shows his "resolute" profile, but even that one isn't especially good.)

29. Why in the heck is Libby smiling like he just won an all expense paid
trip to Maui in some of these pictures? Is he totally clueless, a total buffoon or does he know that a Bush pardon is waiting at the end of the rainbow?

27. Oh, hon... you are not alone...that photo of Fitz pointing
forcefully making his points... God, there are at least two, no let's say three forceful, honest, amazing men with courage to speak truth, when all around them hide in their little holes or are part of the corruption. I'd dearly love to be a groupie to any of them! My list? Fitz, Wesley Clark, Joe Wilson. And, yes there are surely more, (though not nearly ENOUGH). But, these three come to mind right now.

37. okay we have a problem here 'cause we like
all the same men. :P I was digging around in my T-shirt drawer today and found my old Clark '04 T-shirt. Such memories . . .

I agree with you, honesty and integrity are sexy as hell. And a pair of dreamy Irish eyes doesn't hurt a bit.

I want to go to his house and clean the months-old lasagna from the oven and make him a decent meal, mebbe straighten up a bit. I mean, I don't even cook.

Sheesh, if my SO reads this I'm in big trouble.

43. Saturday Night Live last night
Tina Fey said something to that effect when she talked about Fitz. I wonder what he would think about all this!

Poor man just trying to do his job and here we are swooning over him.

He is going to be a very interesting character to watch in the next several months (years?).

32. Traumatizing Experience.....
When I saw the picture of Bush senior and that corpse of a women at the Astros game, I was reminded of a terrible experience I had about 2 weeks ago. I was at the Playoff game between the Astros and the Cardinals in Houston. I was there having a good time with my dad when they started doing the kiss came. Well they pointed it at Bush Sr and that women and I saw them kiss! It was by far one of the most disturbing things i've ever seen in my life, and honestly I don't know if I will ever recover from it....:scared:

19. I lived in Modesto CA for a very short time
before I escaped back to the lovely, very liberal San Francisco Bay Area, and I am proud of the Modesto Bee! In some ways, Modesto is a typical, agricultural "midwestern" red area, and I'm glad that the residents will see this front page.

Mentions Libby, but the wrong one.

Only got a small mention on 1 major capital city paper from what I can see.

Right side bar, half way down the page.

26. The cover of the Newsday from Long Island is the best overall page...
At the top it teases a story about a Marine who was killed in Iraq.

Why did he have to die? Whose fault is it?

Fitzgerald points to Irv and gives us the answer.

Whether that was intentional by the editor or just a coincidence, that front page captures the essence of what this leak probe is all about.

40. I'm in Az and I almost fell over this morning when I saw the paper
You have to understand - we call that paper
the Arizona Republican (it's really call the Az Republic
And to have that pic, that headline from Knight Ridder was a beautiful way to wake up today.

I was going to save it to show the "grankids" one day, but I drew horns and satan eyes on BSH, along with scribbling a few unkind words. Hey - it's the only way I can stand to look at him.
