Has anyone else noticed that those who were worried that DUers

would be disappointed today because they'd gotten their hopes up too high are the ones who are actually disappointed today? And the ones who were excited about "Fitzmas" are still celebrating.

Just an observation. Probably not universally true, just something I've been noticing.

Years ago I read an Atlantic magazine article about disposition. This is something we're born with and it cannot, for the most part, be changed.

Some people just have a dour outlook on life. Reading that article makes it easier to read the naysayers on this board. It's them, not "reality."

While I hadn't posted anything in some six weeks (out of the country), I was indeed concerned about too-high expectations.

And I am disappointed.

I'd better leave it there, before I say something that gets me flamed by 3/4 of DU for even saying that much.

and on the defensive until all this is resolved. That helps to derail the stampede into the total calamity that the neocons were shooting for. The neocon "Political Capitol" is SPENT.

7. Yes, I have noticed

It's disappointing.

However, I'm very happy with my broken scooter. No complaints here.

So what if we didn't cut the head off of the beast, we cut off his feet. This is a huge monster and we are just getting started.
