Poll question: How satisfied are you with today's indictments?
Given your expectations of what was going to happen today, how satisfied are you with the indictments that were handed down today by prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald?

Answer on a 7-point Likert scale.

5. Very satisfied
2 reasons.

1 - The last year has been one huge disappointment after another. And everytime I get my hopes up - can't help it. And this one was a success. I didn't really think ANYTHING would ever happen to these corrupt, murderous bastards. I thought they were teflon. They're not. That makes me really really happy.

2 - This is not over, Fitzy said it himself, and there will be more fallout and repurcussions no matter what, whether anyone else gets indicted or not. This was a major foundation stone of the house of cards of bushco. The whole damn thing is wobbling. And everyone is scrambling so much to save their own asses that there's no one holding it up.

:)

Didn't expect too much, not too much happened.

Now, after Fitz is done, I have a feeling I will be very satisfied. This, after all, is just the first day of Fitzmas, 11 more to go.

It is quite amazing that a top level WH staffer was indicted for lying. That kind of stuff goes on everyday. But the fact that he did it in front of a grand jury means they are covering up something big.

We know, or have a good idea what that 'Big' is, the question to be answered is how well can they continue to cover up, and how many more will be indicted.

7. Very satisfied
I never expected Rove to be indicted, and the Libby indictment is much stronger than I expected. I'm stunned by extent of Libby's blatant lies.

15. Then, why didn't Fitz close down shop?
It doesn't make sense any other way except for if he sees more indictments. Connect the dots.

1. Investigation will continue
2. Fitz still very tight lipped
3. Rove not indicted, but not out of jeopardy
4. Several others involved
5. No conspiracy charges

Plus, Fitz revealed a "tell" during the press conference. Others here picked up on it, as did I. When asked by a woman reporter near the end of the conference why there were no conspiracy charges, Fitz jumped in very quickly, before she finished her question.

I think Rove and some more are in big poo-poo. Conspiracy charges could really bring the house down. Clearly there was a conspiracy here. I was most surprised that there were no charges for it.

8. Somewhat
I am very satisfied as far as it went, and know that this is just the beginning. I would have prefered to have more today, but am ok waiting so long as this is just the beginning.

11. I was hoping for Rove too
but now I'm hoping there's a reason I'll evetually like for Rove not getting nailed today (i.e. Rove flipped).

12. Very satisfied.
But only when framed in the other events of today. I.E., Fitz's press conference and the knowledge that more is to come.

Think '06 and '08. Let it linger.

20. Libby's indictement was more valuable than Rove's
and better yet, tis not over at all. Rove's been identified as Mister A, so something has to give (himself or those more crucial than him). The dam has burst...but remember when the dam bursts, time is still needed for the entire village to be flooded.

21. There was a conspiricy to commit Treason ...
Edited on Sat Oct-29-05 06:21 AM by Drifter
which resulted in the act of Treason.

1 person is charged with lying during the investigation of this act of Treason.

I find this incredibly lame after 2 years of investigation.

These fuckers should be hanging in the town square by now.

Cheers
Drifter
