We weren't low on the food chain in the Garden of Eden, so it must have something to do with the expulsion.

3. If we were better designed my back wouldn't hurt right now.

Our spines are not well designed for walking on two legs. The support structures just aren't sufficient. Therefor we wind up getting back problems over time. Bad design.

Bad design but good adaption. Walking erect enables us to use our arms and hands for other tasks. This opens an entire plethora of tasks that we can accomplish. Most importantly the use of weapons and tools. This enabled our survival much more readily and compensates for the distress our backs experience as a result of walking around all the time.

included spinal cords that heal without leaving paralysis. That oversight has cost me dearly.
