Thoughts and memories of Paul Wellstone

I was reminded listening to AAR today that this is the 3rd anniversary of Paul Wellstones death. Al Franken spent some time talking about his life and some of the work in congress that he did. They talked about how he voted no on the IWR. They talked about how there is not a Dem in congress that his style or understands politics or grassroots the way that Mr. Wellstone did.

There is a quote from his book "The conscience of a Liberal" that I would like to see everybody in D.C. and a lot more people in the world live by.

2. I have heard that about him

I have Sen. Boxer as my senator and I would like to think she is the next great hope that we have. The more I learn of Sen. Wellstone, his wife, family and what they stood for I don't think he will ever be matched or repeated.
