1. Al is doing better today. I miss Katherine and he mentions her often.

He definitely needs a sidekick of some sort in order to keep him on track and from singing too much. He needs to have a producer or assistant that can banter with him and lots of in-studio guests and call-in guests. When he is solo he tends to wander and to sing.

Sam Seder is going to be on. I think that Sam is a fantastic host.
He is especially good when he subs for Randi.

Al says he was on the Today Show at 8:50 AM this morning. Matt Lauer interviewed him. Al is really getting out there on TV this week for his book tour.
