7. Rosa Parks on the front of the PA Inquirer.
But there's also a write up entitled "U.S. toll in Iraq approaches 2,000. As milestone nears, adding up the war losses".

14. At least there's no first-person blather....
....the Daily News has become every reporter's personal blog anymore.

The DDN has never really given much attention to this story, or to any hard news story, for that matter....probably because they figure most readers want to know where to go to get the best hot dog in town.

I read it mainly for the obituaries and comics anymore. For news, I go elsewhere. Like here.

pictures of all the front pages around the country and I think even some foreign papers. Anyone have that handy?

5. The Baltimore Sun
I haven't seen the actual print version yet but it looks like the big story is the Iraqi constitution being passed, Rosa Parks, then the Scooter/Cheney thing and some local stuff.

11. Haven't looked, but it's probably about GB Packers losing yet another game
Yes, I know the game was on Sunday, but this town does not get over football losses easily. (and there has been a lot this season)

I like football, but have no desire to read about it on the front page everyday! I guess I should go retrieve the paper from the mailbox. Maybe Dear Abby has a good column?

16. Spartanburg Herald Journal:
"Investigators Crack 10-Year-Old Homicide". Admittedly a long festering issue, and she was a pretty blond woman, don't ya know.
Other Page one included Rosa Parks and Wilma. Nothing on Plamegate in today's paper. Period. NOTHING.

Disgraceful but typical of this wholeheartedly rethug rag. Those who like to pile on Southerners might consider this blatant control of the media before sounding off.

18. My most local paper has the headline that prices of real estate are still
on the rise in my county.

The national news section is down at the bottom of the webpage and does have the story about Cheney being implicated in the leak.
