Libby met with Judy June 21st or 23rd (can't remember offhand).

The interesting thing is the memo that was on Air Force 1 on July 8th was originally written on June 10th. If it's the memo that Cheney received regarding Plame then it was marked classified.

was written June 10. Powell and Armitage didn't see it until July (or so) - so how did Cheney get the info? You have to wonder if Bolton was at State to make and end run around Powell & Armitage.

Think about the timeline.

When stories showed up at the NYT with an anonymous source in the form of Joe Wilson, the Bushies went looking for the source. Who would have have called at the NYT to get the info?

Before Cheney got the June 11 memo, he had to know who it was he was looking for. Miller told Libby about Wilson before Cheney ever saw the June 11th memo.

June 23rd was when she MET with Libby. Why meet? To plot and scheme. By then they already knew it was Wilson, knew about Plame, and were going after both. Hence, Judy gets called in to help effect the scheme. That is when she heard and wrote down (incorrectly) FLAME. It's an easy mistake to make the first time you hear a name.

She was the one who told them before June 11th that Wilson was the source for the Times' stories. I'm sure of it.

Does anyone think that HER credentials would NOT have been checked out when her husband was sent to investigate the issue??

The WH has known all along.. Cheney & Scooter practically LIVED at the CIA in the run-up to the war..Remember how odd people thought it was that they were there almost every day??
