Bill Kristol: "We All Thought He Had Weapons of Mass Destruction"
Edited on Mon Oct-24-05 11:09 PM by Hissyspit
On The Daily Show.

Which WE is he talking about?

I'M NOT part of that WE.

Is he talking for Scott Ritter? Will Pitt? Me?

I'm feeling like a LynnTheDem post:

Who the hell does he think he is?!
Pathetic. Delusional. Liar!
Liar! Liar! Liar!

I am so FRIGGIN' tired of hearing that one!

Bullshit!
Bullshit!
Bullshit!

What an asshole. I'm glad Jon made him look like an idiot.

5. Yo, Bill. You don't drop a hail of bombs on unarmed civilians
because you think there MAY be WPMs.

7. Sure..."we" all thought he had weapons of mass destruction...
because we EXPECT our leaders to TELL US THE TRUTH!

THAT IS WHY we are America. We don't tolerate people who do bad things because it will make money.

11. I thought he had WMDs
But then again, how the hell should I know? All I know is what I see on the news or hear my president say. I'm not so naive to think politicians don't lie, but my goodness, who would have thought that our president of the United States would lie about something so important on such a massive scale?

13. Wow! That lettering reminds me of the flash cards I use to use when
I was learning to read.

But I'm with you Hissyspit. I walked away from my lunch group years ago on this very same argument.

Bill Kristol is a shell of his former self. I almost pity him for having to play this role as Bush apologist.

14. Talking points, talking points versus Scott Ritter, Hans Blix...
First rule of the Neocon club- never stray from the talking points.

Even their phoney news stations can't suppress the truth. We all know it now. But he couldn't break the neocon rule. So pathetic. Really sad.

17. Yes, bullshit. But a half-truthful, deceptive piece of bullshit
You'll find that everyone does think he had WMD...before 1992. It is technically correct, therefore, to say Saddam had WMD. When pundits say this it is a sure sign of attempted deception and I wonder why no one every asks WHEN did he have them.....

18. Andrea Mitchell said the same thing on Tweety's show today.
Talking points sent to hundreds of fax machines. And the sad thing is that if you are middle America that isn't paying attention, you will believe that.

then Mr. Kristol would have seen that there were no WMDs.

What a jerk.

25. Me either
You almost don't need to know the intelligence, just history. Vietnam started cause the President claimed a US ship was attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin (false), the Spanish-American war started cause the President said Spain sunk the Maine ship (false), the Mexican-American war started cause they said the Mexicans moved the border (false). Almost every war we've been in was started on a lie - why should this be any different?
