I tried free translation on line, and it comes out as gobbledegook. Unless I'm dumber than I already thought, I couldn't find an English language version, but my rudimentary Spanish screams out that there's a lot in this article.

Anyone else know what this means?

5. Yes. I saw that one too. I've traveled fairly extensively ...

... and have had close friends (and a fiancee) for whom English is a second language and have always enjoyed how idiomatic expressions are translated.

In a way, it offers some invaluable insights into the constructs of a language and some of the cultural paradigms. I actually love reading these translations - they inform, educate, and entertain. That's a hard trifecta to beat.

He FABRICATED the information (using bribes) and sold it to the French (for a free week-end on the French Riviera) who dismissed it immediately due to obvious errors in the reporting.

But later the false information was passed on to the CIA and was used because it fitted Cheney's Iraq plans.

The most interesting is the claim that the man behind the report (Martino) is a known con-artist, but not very good at it.
