moveon.org is asking everyone to call their senators and show support for the creation of an idependent commission on Bush's deception. It will be put in as amendment to the defense appropriations bill. They are calling for a "full independent investigation of Presidents deception" and already have 380,000 signatures on their online petition. Calls are better, or e-mails if you can't get through. The vote is supposed to happen today or tomorrow, but hadn't happened yet as of 3:00 p.m. today

I just called. I have a Dem and a Repub staffer. The Repub staffer asked me if I supported the upcoming 'private investigation' - I told here we were all told these things in public, it is time for the truth of the matter to come out in public. Make sure they don't twist what you are saying to make it sound like a private investigation is OK!
