So if those tax cuts for the rich created millions of jobs, what's with
all the layoffs? Seems like all those on Corporate Welfare are laying of tons of people. Sarcastic question but still.

3. No chit...
We do quarterly rounds of layoffs. The corporation gets richer and richer and my co-workers (not me yet) are seeing their jobs shipped to India. Many off you have read the buisness article about our new CEO and the layoffs and how much revenue it will bring in. He is lauded in these articles.

5. Whaddya mean 'sarcastic'? That's a perfectly legitimate question
"*" and his congressional whores gave corporate America a total tax break on profits made overseas, all in the spirit of "creating jobs" here. It's a bunch of bull! All that money went to funding mergers and aquisitions as well as retiring debt. They call it "repatriation".

It is just more corporate wellfare.

For me this really beginning ro create conflicts. I have tried not to be anti-business based on a opinion that businesses are not inherently evil. But a pattern of behavior is showing itself in that corporations are trying to toss off every single ounce of social responsibility. To me this not acceptable. Not only that they are seemingly undercutting their own future by doing this as well. How to cope, how to cope??
