Millionaire Senator Wins $850K in Powerball Lottery-Judd Greeg(R)
http://www.breitbart.com/news/2005/10/20/D8DC0C18F.html

Millionaire Sen. Judd Gregg announced Thursday that he won $853,492 in the Powerball lottery.

The 58-year-old Republican was one of 47 Powerball players who correctly picked five of the winning numbers but not the bonus digit that would have qualified them for the $340 million jackpot _ the second-richest prize in U.S. lottery history.

The only jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Jacksonville, Ore. The holder of the ticket did not immediately step forward.

Figures

4. Jughead Gregg? The same skunk who tossed a poor widow out into the cold?
Say it ain't so.

I can think of few people less deserving.

he should give the money to the widow he tossed out into the cold.

15. This is ancient local history in NH, maybe 15 or 20 years ago
It was a big stink in the Granite State at the time. I googled, but found nothing on the net -- at least not quickly. It may be out there.

Granite Staters should remember it. Gregg had a property in Francestown, or somewhere nearby. An elderly widow woman was living there. I forget the details of the dispute, but Jughead tossed her out on her keester. Like a true Republican.

9. There must be something about "attitude"
if you WANT it - you keep it away from you - the act of wanting goes out to the Universe

but if you don't NEED it - you get it. But I can't help but begroan the cruelty of this joke on the poor.
