Delay avoids the "perp walk"

Slimy little weasel. He was supposed to turn himself in at Fort Bend County Courthouse. At the last minute he turned himself in at Harris County Courthouse. They are doing everything they can to turn this into a "non-story". There was no mention at all of the arrest warrant for Delay on NBC nightly news last night.

2. No doubt there was no mention last night...

because they wanted the footage of the actual booking to run with a story tonight. After all, broadcast news is visual. There's not too many visuals to run with a story about an arrest warrant. But there's plenty of footage to run with the arrest itself. It's what I would do if I was producing. Wouldn't you?
