How many Repukes in 2006 will abandon whats left of the bush crime family?

They can all swear on their bibles that they are not like * they never had a thing to do with the * era, but it'll be no dice. The pundits who behave like rats and attack everyone and anyone (basically the pundits who aren't bought off by the right) will be all over them showing the nation video and pics of just how much x Republican candidate distanced him/herself from *.

At this point I can't think of any Puke that hasn't sworn up and down that * is just the greatest president since Reagan, EVERY SINGLE PUKE has backed * in some way or another and in strong form.

Well maybe except for the Libertarian from Texas Ron Paul what's his name.

They never get the disconnect between what their Leaders say to get elected and what they actually do, once they are elected! And to top it all off, the moran rank and file get totally screwed in the aftermath of electing their leaders. The Republican party has always been the party of the wealthy, case in point, Pinhead's comment about his base, "Some people call you my base, I call you the haves and have mores". For once he told the truth, in that, that is who he really cares about, not the red state'ers who are barely scrapping by, the ones who won't admit that they rely on the very social programs the repubs, their leaders, want to do away with. Truth is, it's the Democratic Party that has given the most to the American people, ie 40/hr work week, social security, civil rights, labor rights and on and on and on. And it's the republican party that has been trying to do away with all of that. I ramble on, I know, but it's so frustrating to me, that they JUST DON'T GET IT! :banghead:

11. Believe Me, I Know

I couldn't begin to count the number of people who live around me that voted for Bush simply because A) he wasn't going to take their guns, B) libruls were going to ban the Bible, C) Kerry was for gay marriage. Sad thing is, some of these people still live on dirt roads and even go without shoes.

It's really not funny to me. It's sickening. I honestly believe that Bush & Co will pay for it someday from the good 'ol guy upstairs. "Compassionate Conservative?" Ha! Bastards. . .

I know of Republicans who abandoned what used to be their party after Bush went after Social Security.

I figure those conmen in "safe seats" will not do much unless the peasants come to their district offices with flaming torches in their hands and the tar and feathers bubbling in a pot just outside the door. But those who just won their seats last time will probably distance themselves-and fast.

4. Staunch GOP'er told me today he's done with them. Yes!

I teach with a guy who recites RW hate radio and doesn't want to think about the implications of what he's saying. We're all on his case, of course, and today, finally, I heard him say, under his breath, that he won't be a Rpub much longer. Don't know exactly what he's waiting for, except maybe for gas prices to go down. Who knows.

Anyway, he's been spouting all their talking points bout the libruls. He said he's not joining the Dems, either, but, at least they've lost him.

If this guy can give it up, most of them can.

These Repug Congress Critters have got to be shaking in their boots. They are not only going to be bailing on Chimp they are going to be distancing themselves from his necon policies. The previous moderates and libertarians are going to feel emboldened to take their previous principled positions.

I know that this is an idealized outcome. But that's probably the only direction this situation can go. Certainly, these Repugs are not going to obtain more control with all this going down. The contrary must be true. I'd bet that Congressional Repugs are scared for their seats.
