It kind of gets to me that Valerie P. has had to stay behind the scenes
when the entire world says/writes her name thousands times per second....Could you stand it and not being able to say anything about it?

1. This isn't about her (as a person), really -- something much bigger

They didn't want to get Valerie Plame, the flesh and blood person. She just stands in for the CIA - It is about the exposure of an agent working on WMDs and that the Bush admin would expose classified information and risk the lives of undercover agents for political payback.

2. Yeah, that's my point exactly. Her name all over and this isn't about her
personally, but almost the future of the country, the lives of thousand innocent people and much more. Could you stand that as a person and no being affected about having nothing to do about it?

3. Being a reclusive and reticent person . . . I might want to step back from
it all. While I prepared my Civil Case.

4. For starters, at least as of July, 2005, she still works for the CIA.
And, if she plans to take legal action in a civil court, she'd be wise to say nothing.

Here's a link to the July 18, 2005 "Open Letter" to the Congressional Leadership from members of the intelligence community:

http://www.crooksandliars.com/stories/2005/07/19/ciaAgentsLetterToUsSenateAndHouse.html

And, here is the relevant segment of text:

In the case of Valerie Plame, she still works for the CIA and is not in a position to publicly defend her reputation and honor. We stand in her stead and ask that Republicans and Democrats honor her service to her country and stop the campaign of disparagement and innuendo aimed at discrediting Mrs. Wilson and her husband.

Peace.
