If Congress can impeach Clinton for lying about an affair then...
they certainly are obligated to impeach Bush for lying about his own knowledge and trying to cover-up in the Plame case.

Let's see how this plays out. I honestly think that this is going to be a much bigger scandal than originally thought and could (potentially) bring down this administration.

1. As much as I'd love to see Bush impeached, I don't think he was
under oath when he lied about Plame case.

4. Bush takes an oath of office when he is sworn in, to
uphold the constitution, etc. Methinks this would cover a crime such as this.

Case closed. THESE ARE NOT PARTISAN ISSUES. PARTY POLITICS SHOULD NOT COME BEFORE THIS COUNTRY.

5. They DIDN'T impeach Clinton for lying....
Technically, yes, that was the excuse they gave.

But I don't think the Repugs in Congress gave a flying flig about Clinton's lying about a consensual sexual affair.

For them, their soul purpose in getting Clinton, was to avenge the 1992 and 1996 elections. They couldn't defeat him at the ballot box, so they wanted to try other ways.

I honestly believe that the Republicans felt a sense of entitlement to the White House. And then along comes 1992, and this little known country Governor named Bill Clinton. And who knew---he could and did beat them!

He had the audacity to win 2 national elections, and that's what they couldn't forgive.

I don't think they honestly, in their own hearts, gave a damn about him lying about a sexual affair, because they do it.
