"He made his displeasure known to Karl....made his life miserable..."

http://www.sciencedaily.com/upi/?feed=TopNews&article=UPI-1-20051019-15365700-bc-us-leak-rove.xml

Citing sources, the newspaper said Bush was furious with Rove in 2003 when his deputy chief of staff conceded he had talked with reporters about the Plame leak.

"He made his displeasure known to Karl," a presidential counselor told The News. "He made his life miserable about this."

OK DU, let's see your creative juices. What do you think * did to make turd blossom's life miserable?

21. It's a convenient story for Dubya.
It appears to let him off the hook for the original conspiracy. It has Dubya being upset with the talking to reporters, without saying that Rove reported having outed Plame/Wilson. And it's not detailed enough to support obstruction of justice. I wonder who from the WH planted the story.

Icy Hot in his underwear, put up 8x10 glossies of Karl with bullseyes on them, dead mouse in the shoe, vaseline on the doorknob, superglue on his cellphone, y'know, big boy stuff.

10. Gave a speech
Come on, if you were the one responsible for trying to convince the American public that * isn't a blithering, drooling imbecile, wouldn't that be about the worst thing he could do to you?

"Oh please...please...don't say anything unscripted. Please pronounce all the words correctly. Please don't dribble spit bubbles while you're talking. Please don't do that stupid fucking heh-heh again. Please don't show up drunk off your ass, staggering and stumbling over anything polysyllabic."

14. Bush didn't do anything ... except help cover it up
If he knew, then he lied to the press and the public when he answered, and he probably lied to the prosecutor.

20. "It would be wrong, John, that's for sure."
When Watergate was breaking, Nixon was quoted as in my subject line, and that was his story that HE was telling John Dean NOT to do something illegal.

He was lying. He was telling Dean it was the wrong move, POLITICALLY.

Bush would never jump Rove for anything but leaving fingerprints at the crime scene.

22. What I find curious....
Is that it appears someone from the WH is leaking this, to make Bush look good; like he wants his servants to be held to high standards.

But IF this is true (and that's a big if) then it would mean Bush had knowledge of Rove's involvement. And if so, I wonder if he told the investigators that when they interviewed him.
