7. Can't remember the source
I doubt it, and the name was changed to Flame, there is only one person in the WH that gives nicknames. My guess would be Bush.

all change together.

9. Apparently, yes.
She, and the rest of the gang, would have been better off had she sat in jail a few more weeks.

But the way Fitzpatrick pulled the strings was brilliant.

I want to know if she was on direct deposit the entire time of her self inflicted jail time. I only call it self inflicted because why else would U spend 90 days in jail because U had a faulty memory. Was she trying 2 hide her early on-set of senility from her NYT editors?

12. yes, but wtf would she sacrifice herself like that?
it-just-does-not-make-sense.

There is waaay more to it than simply protecting a source. We all know that but it still leaves the question: What powerful motives compelled her to go into jail? Is she protecting much more than just an individual person, and if the answer is yes, what is she protecting?

14. Yes.
She said she didn't get the name "Flame" from Libby and can't recall from the other people she spoke to, where she got it from.

And they say we don't have to wear hip boots.

18. Actually, she said she didn't "think" she got the name from Libby.
Our Ms. Judy was damn absolutely certain about the existence and location of WMD's but where or who she got Valerie's name, eh...not so much.

She's saying she's not absolutely certain she didn't get the name from Libby. So maybe there's a second source or more, maybe there's only Libby...Judy just doesn't specifically recall for sure. Judy's saying she doesn't definitively know where she got the name.

Judy, true to form, screwed just about everyone she had dealings with: her lawyers, the NYT, Libby and Fitz. And of course the American public. And she's getting an award for her self-serving behavior?

15. I think Judy is a self serving nitwit--and I think she turned on them all.
I believe that Judy and Libby are creating this little smokescreen--because they've both ratted out Bush, Cheney, Rove and the rest of the WHIG scum.

Seriously.

Judy sat in jail--she says--because she thought Libby didn't give her full permission to talk. Excuse me? Judy shilled for these people. She knew them very well. There was no misunderstanding. That whole pathetic, "I told Judy she could talk, but she didn't believe me, so now I will completely tell her that it's really ok" song-and-dance was a facade. They both made it appear as if Libby said it was ok for Judy to implicate himself--and Judy made it appear as if she was implicating Libby.

This dance was public for a reason. They're protecting themselves until the indictments come out.

Libby's poem to Judy about the "Aspens turning" and "come back to life and work" was Libby telling Judy that the conservatives who matter now hate Bush and it's ok to turn evidence against them--and to return to the land of the living. He's telling her that it's safe to implicate BushCo now--because the elite conservatives who met at the Aspen conference are a signal that BushCo is done. Nothing to fear...come out and spill the beans.

I feel like Flounder in Animal House when he says, "Oh boyyyy...this is gonna be great!!".

It is. Going to be great.
