Hurricane Season not over yet, Tropical Depression 24 has formed
just SW of Jamacia. It is expected to move into the Gulf as the week goes on as a Cat 2 to Cat 3. Currently the west coast of FL or the Panhandle would be possible landfall areas. The GFS/MRF model is pushing it across Florida from Tampa to Orlando out to Jacksonville and then go just off the coast along the eastern seaboard.

4. Now that's my worst nightmare - a direct hit to Tampa. Guess I
better get the windows covered.

5. Upon closer inspection, the Ft Myers area would get the worst
going by the track of the run.

It will of course change in the next few days.

7. Landfall being predicted as Cat 2 or 3 by the weather blogs.
And unless things change dramatically, it's going to be a panhandle hit.

But, we know how accurate these things can be and blogs/discussion boards can also be notoriously inaccurate
