Qs: Rawstory headline Rove...will resign if indicted
Do you think he knows he won't be and this is just another PR stunt?

1. Rove will still run things...
even if he must "resign". Decency and the law mean nothing to Bush, et al.

11. I can't trust anything anymore when it comes to these people.
I am keeping my fingers crossed, but I won't buy he is out until I actually see the photos of him being cuffed.

What do you think?

3. A new Time magazine
article by Viveca Novak and Mike Allen reported this, too. I got it from a link from DUer "bushmeat."

"Karl Rove has a plan, as always. Even before testifying last week for the fourth time before a grand jury probing the leak of CIA operative Valerie Plame's identity, Bush senior adviser Rove and others at the White House had concluded that if indicted he would immediately resign or possibly go on unpaid leave, several legal and Administrative sources familiar with the thinking told TIME.

"Resignation is the much more likely scenario, they say. The same would apply to I. Lewis (Scooter) Libby...."

It's going to be a fun time on DU!

5. PAY ATTENTION...
Rove's gonna resign----period.
He's getting his story into the media first.
Indictments are coming---a for sure thing.
Hence, the resignation stories and RW TV idiots
saying it was Plame's fault, not Rove's.

Same thing for Judy Miller: paint her as
protecting the 1st ammendment; never
mention her NYT Iraq stories were false.

10. Time Article - Rove to "fight aggressively 'any bull___ charges'"

We are going to see the mother of all swift boats

<snip>
Severing his ties would allow Rove—who as deputy chief of staff runs a vast swath of the West Wing—to fight aggressively "any bull___ charges," says a source close to Rove, like allegations that he was part of a broad conspiracy to discredit Plame's husband Joseph Wilson. Rove's defense: whatever he did fell far short of that.

6. Can you post the actual link to this
so that I don't have to go to RawStory and run the gauntlet of ads only to find that it's a WaPost story from yesterday that's already fallen off the page in Gen Discussion?

We have ONE pop under ad at Takebackthemedia.com because I don't want anyone to ever accuse our site of "selling out" - and we've gotten by on the good graces and donations that came from having a Product of some sort we had made already, a film, a deeply moving flash, and commercials we asked for donations for to get on TV..

and we DID just that, my ARMY OF ONE Flash was produced as a 30 and 60 second commercial and ran on the east coast on Cable TV During the Primaries.. for weeks, all from donations..

Now I'm not saying that RawStory and others don't write some very nice articles and op-eds with information gleaned from insider sources..

I'm saying that in the cases where it's already an existing link it should be made available when posting, and I think that's in the rules as well..

This is not an attack, just like I don't watch regular broadcast television because of WAY too many commercials, I won't go to sites (and that includes Salon - who figured out a way around it)even the bigger ones that have those floating ads covering the text, or that are mostly ADS.

I want FACTS and NEWS.

Look at the Research team available here on the DU and in other web Communities, media like CNN or FOX can't AFFORD teams like we have who perform a labor of LOVE to get the Truth out there..

THAT is where it's at.

9. It was being questioned
last week if Bush would have to fire them. This is the White House response, to show how noble these lads truly are.
