Ku Klux Klan Coming To Midland Public Television

“The Klan,” a video news program distributed by the Ku Klux Klan will be airing on MCTV in Midland. The first airing of the program will be on Saturday, October 22nd at 11:30 pm.

According to their website, the Ku Klux Klan brings “a message of hope and deliverance to white Christian America. A message of love, not hate.”

On the site can be found links to sign anti-gay marriage petitions, messages that ‘race-mixing’ is unholy, and articles stating Martin Luther King Jr. had ties to the communist party.

The MCTV Network and Midland Government Television are the City of Midland's public and government access cable television channels.

Hoping that this is being shown on the community access station - there are others operated by MCTV that are govt tv (shows submitted by govt organizaitons to get info out to the community)

If it is cable access - I hope that some local folks do a counter broadcast.

I don't know of ANYBODY who'd listen to them. After my hero Morris Dees bankrupted their asses, they've become even more of a pathetic joke than they already were. They give EVERYTHING they touch a bad name.

I hope they are giving equal time to a group with opposing views - such as the southern poverty law center or such.
