I watched *'s speech this morning for some reason
Actually, there was some amusing irony. While he was spewing on about the great victory in Iraq blah blah, CNN's crawl at the bottom was telling us about the latest dead soldier and the big police station car bomb. How much longer can you take this crap?

1. Everytime I see/hear this kind of stuff
I always think of the movie 'Mars Attacks'...you know the scene where the aliens are blowing all the people away and everybody is running & screaming....and the martians are saying, "Don't run, we come in peace"...as they continue to kill more people.

The movie was funny...this is real life, and it's not funny at all and I do NOT understand why most people don't seem to catch the irony of it all - how ludicrious it all is.
